BLOWN GLASS - WORKSHOP

Workshop on blown glass carried out at the installations of Cencal da Marinha Grande, training given by master glassmakers Arlindo Francisco, Cláudio Duarte and Noé Francisco.
This training contributed to an effective contact with the ancestral techniques still used today in the glass industry.
For the student, it was a week of learning moments - learning to create, execute, dialogue and explore the material - but also a moment of reflection on the applicability of design and its contribution in today's world.
As a contribution to this workshop, another plaster molds workshop was held, this previous one to take to blown glass. Mold made with a one and a half liter plastic bottle.
And so, during this period and with learning, this glass jug was carried out, an object in which the handle is present due to its own form/structure.
